Fall is here!! That means that the holidays are not far behind! The COOL Food Pantries are getting ready for the thousands of people in Lake County who will come to the pantries seeking food assistance for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. This holiday season we are offering two ways to feed our families. Holiday Gift Baskets are available for a low price of $25.00. This box is generously packed with a 12-16 pound turkey, 4 cans of vegetables, 2 cans of fruit, a beverage, potatoes, gravy and a dessert. Please mark your donation with “Holiday Gift Basket” so that it is properly credited.
Below is the grocery list for those of you who prefer to do your own shopping. Both options are designed to be distributed to families of four (4) and above.

ü Vegetables/yams
ü Fruit/cranberries
ü Corn Bread Mix or rolls
ü Dessert
ü Shelf Stable or Powdered Milk or Juice
The COOL Food Pantries have plenty of refrigerator and freezer space to store frozen meat. Please consider feeding a Pantry family of four or above for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. Together we ARE making a difference in the lives we touch.
Holiday food donations may be dropped off at the COOL Food Pantry during regular business hours. Call 847-662-1230 for hours. Checks for the Holiday Baskets may be mailed to COOL Ministries, 800 W. Glen Flora Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
